How I managed the yarn

This is how I managed the 2 balls of yarn without tangles or cat ingestion. I got these bottle "cozies" at Albertsons in the $1.00 bin. I used them for the 2 socks on 2 circular needles and for the double stranded clapotis. They work great!

Finished Clapotis

I knit this Clapotis with Just under 3 hanks of Knit picks Shimmer double stranded in Turquois Splendor. It is going to be a gift for my lovely Mother-in-Law. I knit it exactly according to the pattern except that the yarn is doubled.

Finished Kitty Pi

Here is the finished Kitty Pi! I love how it came out. I used Caron Felt-it in the color Heather (on sale this week at Hobby Lobby for $2.22 per ball) with some kind of eyelash yarn in a rasberry color for the edges. It took 3 balls 93 yds per ball and just enough out of a 4th ball to do the last round. I made it a good 20 rounds bigger than the pattern as I have a full figured kitty! I also just went to smaller needles instead of decreasing as I was using my Denise interchangeble needles and I wanted th sides to be fairly stiff. I am going to make another out of Lion brand wool as kitty likes to vary her napping spots and this was such a quick and easy thing to make!

Nicely filled out Kitty Pi

You can see why I had to make an xtra large Kitty Pi-this Kitty is 15 lbs!

Finished Socks

Here are my finished Socks!! They are the 1st ones I have done 2 at a time on circular needles. I wore them all day and they stayed up even when I ran on the treadmill. I combined techniques, using a turkish cast on, the heel flap from Diamante did my own little fancy ribbing on the top and used a russian bind off.

Frog pouch

This one was a really fast project! Here is a link to the pattern http://www.knitlist.com/98gift/frognbeebag.htm I just used acrylic yarn. I used buttons for the eyes instead of embroidery or fabric paint.

Clapotis in process

I just started this project last night. I am just to start row 46 in section 2. I am using Sinfonia in Terra. It is a mercerized cotton. I got it at Hobby Lobby for only $2.39 a skein on clearance.

Another view of the wristwarmer

Finished Voodoo wristwarmers

Finished Voodoo Wrist warmers done in Wull. I had to reduce the stich count to fit the yarn. I bound off in a picot bind off, that was in Knitty fall06 techniques with Theresa.

A stemmed goblet

Here is a cobalt blue stemmed goblet. These are really nice.

Dog Sweater

This little dog is only 3.5 lbs! I hope the sweater that I made will keep her warm.
